Diamond painting , or diamond embroidery , is a creative activity that combines painting by numbers and mosaic. The principle is simple: you place small rhinestones (called "diamonds") on a pre-printed adhesive canvas, following a color code.
Easy to do , diamond painting allows you to create works of art that can be framed and displayed. This hobby is appreciated for its relaxing aspect and its ability to transform simple canvases into real brilliant paintings, perfect for decoration.
How to use your Diamond Painting canvas:
- Peel off the protective film
Gently remove a small section of the protective film covering the adhesive canvas, working in parts to prevent the glue from drying. - Select the diamonds
Each section of the canvas has symbols that correspond to diamond colors. Choose the correct diamonds according to the symbol indicated. - Use the applicator tool
Dip the tip of the tool into the provided wax, then pick up the diamonds one by one with this tool. - Place the diamonds on the canvas
Place each diamond on the corresponding symbol, pressing gently so that it sticks well. - Work gradually
Continue to remove the protective film as you go, and fill the canvas little by little with diamonds. - Finish and admire
Once all the diamonds are in place, lightly press the canvas with a roller to fix them well, then frame or display your work.
